Capital investment club to meet in Ashland, Ky.

Marshall University’s Institute for the Development of Entrepreneurial Advances and the economic development group Advantage Valley plan the inaugural meeting of the Tri State Capital Investment Club at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Bellefonte Country Club in Ashland, Ky.

The club hopes to bring entrepreneurs and investors to a professional but relaxed forum to make contacts, exchange information and pursue business opportunities. Quarterly meetings will feature presentations by entrepreneurs interested in obtaining start-up or expansion capital for their businesses and keynote speakers.
